Michael Price

Michael Price is Senior Vice President, Investments at Wealthspire Advisors, based in New York, NY. In this leadership role, he is responsible for guiding investment strategy, conducting manager due diligence, and supporting advisors on portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management. Price’s work includes oversight of investment processes that prioritize diversification, tax efficiency, and transparency, serving both individual clients and institutional platforms such as Outsourced CIO solutions.

With more than a decade of industry experience, Price’s career began as a Trading Associate and later an Investment Analyst at Sontag Advisory, where he honed his expertise in trading, portfolio analysis, and client service before joining Wealthspire in 2019. He is recognized for his generalist approach, with hands-on involvement across asset classes—including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments—with a particular emphasis on manager due diligence and strategic portfolio rebalancing.

Price holds an MBA in Investment Management from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from SUNY Buffalo. He is a CFA® charterholder, underscoring his strong foundation in investment analysis and ethical standards.
