Joseph Taglic

Joseph Taglic is a Senior Quantitative Trading Analyst at Belvedere Trading, LLC, based in Chicago, where he leads the development of advanced trading models and data-driven strategies. His focus is on leveraging quantitative methods and computational tools to optimize derivatives trading and manage risk across various asset classes, with a particular emphasis on options and other volatility-based products.

Prior to his current role, Joseph completed internships at Belvedere Trading as a Hybrid Trader Trainee and at Invesco US in portfolio management and research, gaining experience in both proprietary trading and buy-side asset management. These positions allowed him to develop a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and portfolio construction methods tailored to capital markets.

Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is known for his achievements in academic competitions, including representing Regis High School at the National Science Bowl and as a Jeopardy! Teen Tournament semifinalist, reflecting his long-standing commitment to analytical excellence and problem-solving.
