Luke Hall

Luke Hall is the Quantitative Trading Lead at Belvedere Trading, LLC, based in Chicago, Illinois. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing quantitative trading strategy development and execution, as well as managing risk and leading a team of quants within the firm. His expertise is centered on derivatives trading, leveraging advanced quantitative methods to optimize market-making and proprietary trading operations, with a particular focus on equity index and commodity derivatives.

Prior to his current leadership position, Luke Hall gained experience as a derivatives trader and quant developer at Belvedere Trading, where he contributed to the firm's technology-driven trading initiatives. His industry tenure at Belvedere Trading has been marked by roles ranging from hands-on strategy implementation to quantitative research and product development in financial markets.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from Rice University, graduating between 2013 and 2017. His strong mathematical foundation underpins his ability to design and deploy complex quantitative models in the fast-paced derivatives sector. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated notable achievements in quantitative finance and trading, actively advancing Belvedere Trading’s capabilities in equity index options and commodity derivatives markets.
