William Sun

William Sun is a Quant Trader at Belvedere Trading, LLC, where he specializes in indices and equity options, contributing to proprietary trading and market-making activities within these asset classes. In his current role since February 2023, he engages in daily trading operations, quantitative strategy development, and technology-driven analysis to optimize liquidity provision for the firm's core markets.

Prior to joining Belvedere Trading, William held quant trading roles at IMC Trading, including as a Quant Trader from August 2021 to January 2023 and a Quant Trader Intern in 2020, where he gained expertise in modeling, market analysis, and execution across major listed derivatives. His responsibilities at both firms have focused on leveraging statistical and computational techniques to identify opportunities and manage complex risk in highly liquid instruments.

William holds a degree in Quantitative Finance and Computer Science from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder, equipping him with advanced capabilities in financial mathematics, programming (Python, SQL), and data analysis.
