Peiting Liang

Peiting Liang is a Senior Analyst at Northcape Capital Pty Ltd, based in Sydney, where she is responsible for research and coverage of Australian equities. Her primary focus is on Australian-listed companies, with a depth of expertise across sectors including healthcare, transportation, infrastructure, and quality growth businesses.

Prior to joining Northcape in 2021, Peiting was a Senior Associate at J.P. Morgan’s Equity Research team, where she covered the Australia Healthcare, Transportation, and Infrastructure sectors. Her team earned the top ranking in healthcare research from the 2020 Peter Lee Associates Sell-Side Research Survey, and she was recognised with the J.P. Morgan Australia CEO Rising Star Award in 2019 for outstanding junior talent and contributions. Earlier in her career, she completed an internship at HSBC in Global Banking and began as an auditor in KPMG's Financial Services division while studying at university.

Peiting holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of New South Wales and is a CFA® Charterholder. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin, and is active in industry diversity initiatives, having held leadership roles in J.P. Morgan’s "Women On The Move" committee and the Junior Women in Markets (JWIM) committee since 2016.
