John Mucher

John Mucher is an analyst at Apis Capital Advisors, LLC, a New York-based independent hedge fund and investment advisor. In his current role, he serves as a sector generalist, conducting equity research and analysis to support the firm's investment strategies across a range of sectors. Apis Capital is known for its focus on long/short and long-only equity investments, primarily in small- and mid-cap stocks, employing fundamental research across industries including technology, healthcare, and consumer goods.

Before joining Apis Capital Advisors in 2018, John Mucher gained valuable experience as an Equity Research Associate at Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., Inc., where he covered multiple sectors and provided deep industry analysis. Earlier in his career, he was a Corporate Officer/Principal at Wasabi Ventures Partners, a venture capital firm, which helped broaden his understanding of early-stage investments and private markets.

John holds both a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. from Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2018, demonstrating his expertise in securities analysis and portfolio management. John’s cross-sector analytical background and his experience in both public and private investment firms contribute to his comprehensive approach in evaluating global equities.
