Meagan Tenety

Meagan Tenety is a Senior Sustainable Investment Research Analyst at Ariel Investments, based in Chicago, IL. In this role, she leads Ariel’s ESG processes within the domestic equity research team, overseeing portfolio engagement, data analysis, research, and implementation of strategic environmental, social, and governance projects. Her primary focus is on U.S. domestic equities, where she integrates ESG factors into company evaluation and portfolio construction.

Before joining Ariel Investments, Meagan co-founded Nasdaq’s Sustainability Advisory practice, advising publicly traded companies on ESG strategy, risk management, and disclosure, particularly relating to labor and climate risks in global supply chains. She also held a senior advisory analyst position at Nasdaq, further honing her expertise in ESG integration and corporate engagement.

Meagan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Relations from Lehigh University, an MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business, and credentials from the Transition Design Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. She is recognized for her significant contributions in advancing ESG best practices in equity investment research, with a sector focus on U.S. public equities and experience driving ESG advisory across broader capital markets.
