Bill Hornbarger

Bill Hornbarger is the Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice-President at Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., where he also serves as Chairman of the firm's Investment Strategy Committee. Based in St. Louis, he leads the development, oversight, and implementation of strategic asset allocation and investment policies for both individual and institutional clients. His current responsibilities include formulating macroeconomic perspectives and providing actionable investment insights across asset classes.

Hornbarger’s expertise is centered around multi-asset portfolio strategy, with a particular emphasis on fixed income markets, equities, and alternative investments. He plays a pivotal role in guiding the firm’s positioning on interest rate trends, credit markets, and other macroeconomic drivers, helping clients navigate complex market environments.

Before joining Benjamin F. Edwards in 2020, Bill was Chief Investment Officer at Moneta Group for over a decade and served as Chief Fixed Income Strategist at A.G. Edwards & Sons, where he specialized in U.S. bond markets and economic trends. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Saint Louis University, and is widely recognized for his contributions to investment strategy and market commentary throughout his career.
