Brian Gevry

Brian L. Gevry, CFA, is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Boyd Watterson Asset Management, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. He is responsible for the overall strategic leadership of the firm, overseeing investment processes and committees, and guiding the development and execution of investment philosophy across all asset classes. As Chairman of Boyd Watterson’s Real Estate Investment Committee, he also leads the firm’s vision, culture, and long-term business strategy, ensuring alignment with client objectives and risk profiles.

At Boyd Watterson, Brian Gevry manages investment strategies spanning real estate, fixed income, equity, and infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on commercial real estate, government-focused real estate funds, and open-end REIT products. He has been instrumental in launching and expanding the firm’s real estate platform and developing both state and local government investment products. His expertise also extends to broader asset allocation and risk management across the company’s product offerings.

Brian began his career at Boyd Watterson’s predecessor, Duff & Phelps Investment Management, in 1991 and has held a variety of senior roles including Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CIO. He earned an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a BA from Cleveland State University, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Over his tenure, he has led Boyd Watterson through significant growth, expanded its geographic and asset class footprint, and advanced firm-wide research and data-driven investment practices.
