Jason Manley

Jason Manley is an Equity Research Associate at Brandes Investment Partners in San Diego, where he focuses on the Basic Materials sector while also covering select telecommunications and consumer companies. In his current role, he conducts in-depth financial analysis, supports investment decision-making, and contributes to the firm’s research process across his coverage areas.

Prior to joining Brandes in 2020, Jason gained industry experience as an Equity Research Intern at Thompson Research Group in Nashville, Tennessee. He also founded and served as President of the San Diego Homeless Health Initiative from 2016 to 2021, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective and leadership experience to his financial career.

Jason holds a Master of Science in Finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and earned his BA in Economics, with minors in Cognitive Science and Mathematics, from the University of California, San Diego. Through his academic background and sector focus, Jason has developed expertise in fundamental equity analysis and broad industry coverage, with notable contributions in integrating analytical rigor and cross-sectoral insights at Brandes.
