MacDuff Kuhnert

MacDuff Kuhnert, CFA, is a director and quantitative portfolio manager at Causeway Capital Management LLC, based in Santa Monica, California. He has been with the firm since its inception in 2001, specializing in developing and implementing quantitative investment strategies. His key responsibilities include stock selection, asset allocation, risk model development, and portfolio construction, primarily focused on international, global, and emerging markets equities, as well as global small-cap equities.

Mr. Kuhnert's investment expertise spans nearly three decades, with prior experience as a quantitative research associate at the international team of the Hotchkis & Wiley division of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (HW-MLIM) from 1996 to 2001. During this tenure, he played a pivotal role in designing and advancing quantitative models for international value equity strategies, including the development of his team's first equity risk model.

He holds a BA in chemistry from Dartmouth College and is a CFA charterholder.
