Charles Ryan

Charles Ryan is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Evercore Wealth Management in New York, where he co-manages the Evercore Equity Fund and serves on the firm's Equity Selection Committee. He focuses on U.S. and global equities, utilizing a fundamental, long-term investment approach that prioritizes concentrated yet diversified portfolios, often with differentiated industry exposures from major benchmarks.

Over his distinguished career, Mr. Ryan has held leadership roles at U.S. Trust, including Managing Director and Market Investment Executive, where he managed growth equity strategies and participated in investment policy decisions. Prior to that, he was Head of the Equity Division at BNY Asset Management, overseeing the bank’s largest mutual fund, The Hamilton Equity Income Fund.
