George Hill

George Hill serves as Vice President at Folger Nolan Fleming Douglas Capital Management, Inc., one of Washington, DC's oldest investment firms. In this capacity, he manages client portfolios with a focus on equity selection, holistic asset allocation, and both taxable and tax-free fixed income strategies. As a registered options principal and stockbroker, he provides advisory services on manager selection and serves a client base that includes individuals, high-net-worth families, and nonprofit entities.

With a tenure at the firm since 1977, Hill brings over four decades of experience in portfolio management and security brokerage. He has also served in several civic and financial leadership roles, including organizer and co-founder of Tysons Financial Corporation, advisory board positions with the Smithsonian Institution Libraries, and nonprofit leadership as President of Oak Hill Cemetery and Treasurer of the Metropolitan Club Preservation Foundation.

Hill holds both a BA and MA in Philosophy from Tufts University and is a graduate of the Landon School. His expertise spans equities, fixed income securities, and options, and he is recognized for contributing to the investment industry through leadership in both private and philanthropic sectors, including service as President of the Washington Bond Club.
