Yahya Khan

Yahya Khan is a Principal at Onex Credit based in New York, where he focuses on Opportunistic Credit investing. His current responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and executing investments across a range of non-investment grade credit instruments, leveraging Onex Credit's platform to originate and manage complex credit opportunities. He works closely with institutional and high-net-worth clients, tailoring investment strategies to meet diverse portfolio objectives, primarily within the opportunistic and private credit sectors.

Yahya specializes in non-investment grade credit, targeting tradeable, private, and opportunistic strategies within the credit asset class. His sector expertise includes telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT), as well as broader complex and special situations within corporate credit. This focus builds on his prior experience at J.P. Morgan, where he served as an Investment Banking Credit Associate for the TMT group, gaining deep sectoral insight and analytical skills from 2018 to 2020.

Before joining Onex Credit, Yahya advanced from Vice President to Principal within the firm, and was previously part of J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking division. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from Baruch College, equipping him with strong financial analysis and risk assessment expertise. Yahya is recognized for his significant analytical contributions in structuring and underwriting complex credit transactions, helping drive strategic growth for Onex Credit’s opportunistic strategies.
