Kenneth Damato

Kenneth Damato is the Managing Director at Intrepid Capital Management Inc., currently based in Princeton, NJ. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the firm's investment strategy, identifying opportunities within both public and private markets, and managing key relationships with institutional investors. His remit at Intrepid Capital includes coordinating M&A opportunities and strategic projects, particularly in the Asia and Middle East regions, and leading commercial and operational functions for the firm in these markets.

Kenneth’s sector expertise spans financial services, technology, consumer services, and industrials, with deep operational experience in asset management, global equities, and fixed income. Before joining Intrepid Capital, he held executive roles at firms such as Manulife Asset Management, where he managed global equity and fixed income portfolios as Chief Administrative Officer and Managing Director, as well as COO at Evergreen Investment Management Company and Chief Operating Officer at The Tyden Group. Earlier in his career, Kenneth held leadership positions at American Standard Companies, GE, Schering Corporation, and IBM.

Kenneth Damato holds a Bachelor of Science with a dual major in Marketing and Business Administration and a minor in Finance from Northeastern University and an MBA from Boston University. He is the founder and Board Chair of the DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation, demonstrating his commitment to financial education. Over his career, Kenneth has guided numerous M&A transactions, contributed to risk management committees at major financial institutions, and overseen substantial growth at firms he led, particularly with Bottomline Technologies and GE Lighting.
