Terry Chong

Terry Chong is a Principal, Portfolio Manager, and Global Equity Analyst at Leith Wheeler Investment Counsel Ltd., where he has served since 2021 and is part of the team managing a concentrated global equity mandate. In this capacity, he focuses on researching, analyzing, and recommending global equity investments, drawing on over 25 years of international investment experience. Terry’s prior experience includes serving as Senior Equity Analyst and Principal at Sixty Degree Capital, where he was responsible for equity research, and as Group Head, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Consultant at Ideal Advisory Services, specializing in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sectors. At Leith Wheeler, he leverages this expertise particularly in healthcare equities, as well as broader global sectors, identifying investment opportunities across diverse industries.

Terry holds a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, and a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology and Pharmacology from the University of Toronto. He is recognized for his deep sector knowledge—especially in healthcare and global equities—and his disciplined, long-term investment approach that prioritizes clients’ interests and sustainable returns.
