Guy Lakonishok

Guy Lakonishok is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at LSV Asset Management in Chicago, Illinois, where he has served since 2008. In this role, he is responsible for managing daily portfolio cash flows and periodic strategy rebalances alongside the firm's senior investment team, and plays a key part in research and the execution of quantitative investment strategies. His focus at LSV includes global and U.S. value equity strategies, with specialized work in quantitative portfolio management and risk control techniques.

Before joining LSV, Guy Lakonishok held leadership roles in quantitative equity at BlackRock as Vice President and previously worked as an analyst at Weiss, Peck, and Greer. In these roles, he was responsible for research, system development, performance attribution, and portfolio analytics—experience that underpins his expertise in quantitative finance and equity markets.

Mr. Lakonishok holds an MBA in Analytical Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a CFA charterholder, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of investment management. He also contributes to the community through board work at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and The Joffrey Ballet.
