Anthony Arsta

Anthony "Tony" Arsta is the Chief Investment Officer at Motley Fool Asset Management, where he leads the investment team and oversees all aspects of portfolio management and strategy for the firm’s suite of actively managed and ETF products. In this capacity, he is responsible for driving investment processes, idea generation, and ensuring the alignment of the firm’s total assets with its long-term growth objectives.

Over his tenure at Motley Fool Asset Management, Tony has focused on a broad range of equity investments, with particular emphasis on growth and small-cap stocks, thematic strategies, and innovative companies across the technology and consumer sectors. His leadership is rooted in deep fundamental research, leveraging both quantitative methods and qualitative analysis to capitalize on long-term opportunities for shareholders.

Tony joined Motley Fool in 2008, progressing from analyst roles through portfolio management to his current executive position, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of investment research and portfolio construction. He holds an MBA in Finance from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which underpins his expertise in integrating data-driven techniques with traditional financial analysis, and in bridging technology and investment strategy.
