Jeff Travis

Jeff Travis, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst at Oak Associates Ltd. based in Hudson, Ohio. In his current role, he co-manages several mutual funds, including the White Oak Select Growth, Pin Oak Equity, Rock Oak Core Growth, River Oak Discovery, Red Oak Technology Select, Black Oak Emerging Technology, and Live Oak Health Sciences Funds, with a primary focus on U.S. equities across large-cap, all-cap, small-cap, growth, technology, and health sciences sectors. His responsibilities include fundamental equity research, portfolio construction, and investment strategy for both institutional and individual client accounts, with an emphasis on concentrated, long-term investing.

With over 27 years of investment experience, Jeff rejoined Oak Associates in 2019 following senior roles as Principal and Senior Analyst at Winslow Asset Management and Director of Research at Broadleaf Partners. He has managed portfolios through various market cycles and has served as portfolio manager for both the Black Oak Emerging Technology and Red Oak Technology Select Funds, highlighting his expertise in growth equities and technology sectors. Additionally, Jeff has contributed to the investment community as a board member for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Buckeye Chapter.

Jeff holds an MBA in Finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a BA in Economics from Denison University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and an active member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Cleveland, reflecting deep commitment to the highest professional standards and continuing education in the investment management industry.
