Paul Dwyer

Paul Dwyer, CFA, is the Managing Partner and Director of Research at Punch & Associates Investment Management, Inc., based in Saint Paul, MN. In his role, he leads the firm's investment research activities and oversees portfolio management, leveraging more than 15 years of experience in public company investing and research.

Dwyer specializes in micro-cap and small-cap equity research and portfolio management, with additional expertise in the large-cap equity space. He has in-depth experience working with small-cap companies, particularly in corporate strategy and development within the renewable fuels and chemicals sector, providing him with unique insights into the operational and financial challenges faced by emerging growth companies.

Prior to joining Punch & Associates, Dwyer was a research analyst at another buy-side investment firm and at Blue Clay Capital. He earned his BSBA in Finance and Accounting from Creighton University and is a CFA® charterholder, recognized for his analytical approach and investment acumen in the small- and micro-cap sectors.
