Andrew Hill

Andrew Hill is President and Portfolio Manager at Ranger Investment Management in Dallas, Texas, where he has served since 2003. At the firm, he leads the investment team and is a key decision maker for the firm’s small-cap, micro-cap, and SMid-cap U.S. growth equity strategies. His primary research and portfolio management responsibilities focus on the financials and energy sectors, and he is also an active member of the firm’s ESG Advisory Committee.

Prior to joining Ranger Investment Management, Mr. Hill was a Research Analyst for Ranger Capital-affiliated investment funds and worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. He began his career as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Dain Rauscher Wessels, gaining broad experience in transaction advisory and research across multiple industries.

Mr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from Vanderbilt University. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the investment field through his leadership in boutique asset management and by serving on various nonprofit boards in Dallas, demonstrating a commitment to both professional excellence and community service.
