Lisa Hessler

Lisa Hessler was an accomplished investment manager and CFA charter holder based in Boston, Massachusetts, most recently serving as a portfolio manager (PM) at Reynders, McVeigh Capital Management, LLC. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing client portfolios with an emphasis on long-term, values-based investing, fostering deep client relationships, and guiding strategic asset allocation decisions. She was highly respected for her thoughtful approach to sustainable investing and commitment to mentoring the next generation of financial professionals.

Lisa’s sector focus included sustainable and responsible investment strategies, leveraging her background in sustainable agriculture policy and her experience on the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee. Her investment expertise centered on environmentally conscious asset selection and supporting clients with interests in impact investing and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) criteria.

Before her transition to finance, Lisa earned a B.S. in Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Vermont and played a key policy role in the development of early 1990s U.S. agricultural legislation. She was recognized for advancing women in finance, serving as president of the Boston Economic Club, and establishing mentorship initiatives and internship programs to support diversity and inclusion within the investment industry.
