Joseph Bailey

Joseph Bailey, CFA, CAIA, is a Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst at RiverNorth Capital Management, LLC, based in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since joining RiverNorth in 2017, he has provided analytical insights and developed strategic processes to enhance efficiency across business development, marketing, and investment functions, supporting the firm's focus on opportunistic strategies in specialized and inefficient market segments.

He primarily works on investment strategies within niche and alternative asset classes, leveraging RiverNorth's expertise in areas such as closed-end funds, opportunistic credit, and other markets where inefficiencies present attractive opportunities for active management. His responsibilities include portfolio construction, market analysis, risk management, and process improvement for the firm's registered and private fund offerings.

Joseph holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. He earned an M.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Biology from Loyola University Chicago. Prior to RiverNorth, he was engaged in market analysis and outreach at a venture capital firm and gained quantitative research experience as a research assistant at Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business.
