Seth Bienstock

Seth Bienstock is Partner and Financials Sector Head at TimesSquare Capital Management, LLC, an SEC-registered investment advisor based in New York City. He leads research coverage and investment strategy for the financial services sector, specializing in growth equity investments primarily within small- and mid-cap U.S. equities. His role encompasses directing sector research, portfolio construction, and advising institutional clients on financial industry allocations.

Prior to joining TimesSquare Capital Management in 2008, Seth was Senior Analyst at Second Curve Capital LLC, a hedge fund focused on the financial services sector. His earlier experience includes eight years in private equity roles at Conning Capital Partners and Securitas Capital, where he not only served as an analyst but also worked on strategy and corporate development assignments for Swiss Re.

Seth holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, with dual concentrations in Finance and Insurance/Risk Management. He is recognized for his expertise in analyzing banks, insurers, asset managers, and specialty finance companies, and is regarded for his contributions to sector-focused investment research and portfolio management in the institutional asset management industry.
