Sonu Chawla

Sonu Chawla, CFA, is a Partner and Portfolio Manager/Analyst at TimesSquare Capital Management, LLC, based in Hoboken, NJ. She plays a key leadership role within the firm’s U.S. growth equity group, with primary responsibility for investment research and portfolio management in the Software, Technology Services, and Internet & Communications sectors—core areas within the broader Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) industry.

Leveraging over 22 years of industry experience, Sonu joined TimesSquare in 2018 following senior analyst positions at Pine River Capital Management—a multi-strategy hedge fund covering TMT globally—as well as Surveyor Capital (Citadel) and Fred Alger Management. Her expertise is notably deep in identifying high-growth opportunities and structural shifts within TMT, spanning both public equities and multi-strategy platforms.

Sonu holds an M.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
