Brad Adams

Brad Adams is Managing Director of Financial Operations at Tortoise Capital Advisors, an investment manager specializing in listed energy investments. In this role, he oversees the firm’s financial operations team and serves as chief financial officer for the company’s closed-end funds, contributing to the launch and management of various equity and debt offerings tied to energy infrastructure, midstream, and related sectors.

Adams focuses on investment strategies for energy infrastructure, midstream energy assets, and closed-end funds, including listed equity and debt securities within the energy and infrastructure sectors. His expertise also extends to tax-advantaged investments and sustainable social infrastructure through his leadership positions at affiliated funds.

With over 28 years of experience in financial services, Adams was formerly chief operating officer and director at Jones & Babson Inc., and held senior roles at TrendStar Funds. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wyoming and an MBA from Rockhurst University. Adams is recognized for his leadership in launching innovative investment products and expanding firms into new asset classes.
