Rob Thummel is Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Tortoise Capital Advisors, based in Kansas City, MO, where he oversees energy-focused investment strategies, including listed funds such as the Tortoise Energy Infrastructure Fund. Thummel leads portfolio construction, security selection, and investment research for funds targeting the energy infrastructure sector, with a particular emphasis on midstream oil and gas assets, natural gas infrastructure, and the intersection of energy with rapidly growing areas like data center electrification and artificial intelligence-driven demand.
