Prashant Inamdar

Prashant Inamdar, CFA, is Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager, and Senior Research Analyst at Westwood Holdings Group, Inc., based in Dallas, Texas. In this leadership role, he is responsible for managing investment portfolios, conducting in-depth equity research, and contributing to the overall strategy of the U.S. Value Equity investment team. He is directly involved in the selection of high-quality, undervalued companies and in risk management across various portfolios.

Mr. Inamdar focuses on U.S. value equities, with a particular specialization in small- to mid-cap companies, as demonstrated by his portfolio management of the Westwood Quality SMidCap Fund. His expertise centers on finding investment opportunities at the intersection of quality and value, utilizing thorough fundamental analysis to mitigate downside risks and seek superior risk-adjusted returns.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Inamdar served in several ascending roles at Westwood since 2013, following experience as an analyst at 3Twelve Capital. He holds an MBA in Finance from Indiana University, a degree in Marketing and Finance from Tezpur University, a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and completed his schooling at Campion School, Bhopal. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his rigor in investment research and his disciplined approach to portfolio construction in the asset management industry.
