Jason Subotky

Jason Subotky is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Yacktman Asset Management Co, based in Austin, Texas, where he has worked since 2001. He serves as a co-manager for core firm strategies including the AMG Yacktman Fund, AMG Yacktman Focused Fund, and the Yacktman U.S. Equity Fund, and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

Subotky specializes in value-oriented U.S. equity investing, focusing largely on large-cap equities across sectors but guided by rigorous, bottom-up stock selection and fundamental analysis. His approach often emphasizes companies with strong cash generation, disciplined capital allocation, and attractive forward rates of return, occasionally pursuing special situations or turnaround opportunities within the U.S. equity landscape.

Prior to joining Yacktman, Subotky was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and a General Partner at Peterschmidt Ventures. He holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Brigham Young University, bringing a unique interdisciplinary perspective to his investment research and management.
