Andy Anderson

Andy Anderson serves as a partner at Aristeia Capital LLC, based in Stamford, Connecticut. He joined Aristeia in September 2008 as a Senior Analyst in the Fundamental Research group, later advancing to partner in January 2017. In his current role, he researches and manages investments in high yield, special situations, and distressed assets, and also leads efforts to integrate technology into Aristeia’s investment processes.

Anderson’s investment expertise centers on corporate credit across the capital structure, including both equity and fixed income instruments with a focus on relative value, credit arbitrage, and distressed situations. He has played a key role in leveraging Aristeia’s technology infrastructure to systematize idea generation and improve research.

Prior to Aristeia, Anderson held senior positions at TQA Investors and Context Capital Management as a portfolio manager and analyst, focusing on fixed income strategies. He began his career at Seneca Financial Group in corporate credit restructuring and at Wachovia Bank’s private equity group. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting, with distinction, from the University of Virginia and an MBA, with high honors, in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
