Sarah Fidler

Sarah Fidler is Managing Director and Head of Global Debt Trading at Canyon Partners, LLC, based in Southlake, Texas. In this role, she oversees global trading activity across the firm’s credit market investments, directing strategy and execution for debt instruments including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, and distressed credit positions. Her leadership extends to managing Canyon’s trading teams and optimizing investment outcomes across U.S., European, and global credit markets.

Fidler’s career at Canyon began in 2013, where she initially served as the dedicated trader for European investments for over seven years before assuming responsibility for global loan and debt trading. She has played a pivotal role advancing Canyon’s capabilities in both European and North American trading, with prior experience at Goldman Sachs in distressed trading, and at UBS and Cambridge Capital Partners in investment banking and private equity.

She holds an MBA in Analytical Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan. Fidler’s expertise spans complex credit strategies, distressed assets, and global fixed income trading, establishing her as an influential leader in credit market investment and trading.
