Casey Savage

Casey Savage is Principal at Columbus Hill Capital Management, L.P., based in New Jersey. In his current role, he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments, with a particular focus on distressed debt, special situations, and event-driven credit opportunities. He leverages over 17 years of experience in alternative asset management to oversee strategy and portfolio construction for the firm’s clients.

Prior to joining Columbus Hill, Casey served as a Distressed Debt and Special Situations Analyst at Third Avenue Management, where he gained in-depth expertise in identifying value across stressed and distressed credit markets and complex restructurings. Earlier in his career, he worked in Leveraged and Acquisition Finance at Morgan Stanley, providing transaction support and risk analysis for high-yield and leveraged buyout financings. His professional background has equipped him with specialized knowledge of credit, distressed assets, and opportunistic strategies within public and private markets.

Casey holds a degree in Political Science and Government, as well as Hispanic Studies, from Trinity College-Hartford, and studied Spanish and Iberian Studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. His education, combined with his analytical skills honed across tier-one investment firms, positions him as a specialist in credit, distressed debt, and special situations investing.
