Greg Zaffiro

Greg Zaffiro is a Partner at Electron Capital Partners, LLC, where he oversees marketing, investor relations, and business development for the firm. He rejoined Electron in 2018 and brings over 18 years of experience in the hedge fund industry, with a particular focus on capital raising and relationship management in institutional investment environments.

At Electron Capital, Mr. Zaffiro's work supports the firm's long/short equity strategy, which targets the global transition of energy production and consumption toward lower-carbon solutions. The firm’s core investment sectors include global utilities, clean energy infrastructure, and companies driving or benefiting from structural changes in energy and environmental markets, such as electric, water, gas, and waste management industries.

Previously, Mr. Zaffiro served as Managing Director of Business Development and Investor Relations at Gates Capital Management and was a Director at Platinum Management. He also gained equity research experience at Roth Capital Partners, with coverage of enterprise software companies. Mr. Zaffiro holds a BS in Business Administration from Fordham University and is recognized for his expertise in investor relations and active involvement in capital markets, particularly within energy transition-focused investment strategies.
