Ryan Hoadley

Ryan Hoadley is an Investment Analyst at Holocene Advisors, LP in New York, where he provides in-depth long/short equity analysis with a particular focus on the automotive, commercial vehicle, chemical, consumer, and retail sectors. In his current role, he leverages advanced financial modeling and fundamental research to identify undervalued opportunities and inform investment decisions across public equities, employing both bottom-up valuation techniques and macroeconomic insights.

Prior to joining Holocene Advisors in 2017, Mr. Hoadley spent nearly a decade as an analyst at Newbrook Capital Advisors, where he developed expertise in equity investments in the automotive and retail industries. He previously worked as an Associate in U.S. Co-Investments at AlpInvest Partners, contributing to the management and analysis of a multi-billion dollar global private equity fund across a range of industries.

Mr. Hoadley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with high distinction from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Over his career, he has been recognized for his rigorous analytical approach, development of robust valuation frameworks, and his ability to uncover profitable investment opportunities in both established and emerging markets within his focus sectors.
