George Antonopoulos

George Antonopoulos is a Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Hudson Bay Capital Management LP, based in New York. He joined the firm in April 2006 and specializes in evaluating, structuring, trading, negotiating, and executing direct investments across a range of asset classes. His current responsibilities include overseeing strategies in equities, fixed income securities, convertible securities, corporate debt instruments, warrants, and other structured products, with a particular focus on special situation investments such as appraisal rights, M&A transactions, and SPACs.

Antonopoulos brings extensive experience from previous roles at Heights Capital Management, an affiliate of Susquehanna International Group. There, he invested in small and mid-cap companies across the capital structure through convertibles, equity, preferred stock, warrants, and options, and gained expertise in risk management and modeling complex securities. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Trader at The Vanguard Group, further broadening his expertise in public markets.

He earned a BS in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a concentration in Economics from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. Antonopoulos is recognized for his work in special situations, structured products, and multi-asset investing, making significant contributions to the development and execution of complex trading strategies at Hudson Bay Capital Management LP.
