Charlie Sun is Managing Director at Indus Capital Partners, LLC, based in New York, where he leads the risk team. His primary responsibilities include quantitative risk management, portfolio risk analysis, and the enhancement of risk infrastructure to support the firm's investment processes, focusing on hedge fund strategies and multi-asset portfolios. His earlier career includes roles in market risk at Morgan Stanley, overseeing structured credit and wealth management, and quantitative development at Barclays Capital.

Charlie Sun holds an MSc in Financial Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BSc in Computer Science & Applied Mathematics from the University of Toronto. He is a CFA charterholder and a GARP-certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), demonstrating expertise in quantitative finance, risk analytics, and multi-asset investment strategies.
