Bahij Hourani

Bahij Hourani is currently a Long/Short Equity Analyst at Invenomic Capital Management LP in Boston, MA, where he specializes in the analysis and selection of equities for the firm’s long/short strategy. In this role, he is responsible for performing fundamental analysis, identifying investment opportunities, and contributing to portfolio construction with a particular focus on public equities.

Prior to joining Invenomic, Bahij held roles as a Private Equity Research Associate at Mercer and as an Investment Analyst at the State of Michigan Retirement Systems. His experience covers both public and private markets, with expertise in equity research, portfolio management, and investment due diligence. At Mercer, he focused on private equity fund research and manager selection, while at Michigan Retirement Systems he contributed to asset allocation decisions across various asset classes, including equities and private investments.

Bahij holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business and has completed educational programs through the CFA Institute and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His professional focus lies in equity research within long/short strategies, driven by a robust background in finance and investment analysis across sectors such as technology, industrials, and consumer discretionary.
