Bob Marx

Bob Marx is the Managing Director at Invenomic Capital Management LP, based in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, he leads client relationships and marketing activities, serving as a key liaison between the firm and institutional investors, advisory firms, and family offices. His responsibilities include managing client outreach, developing business strategies, and overseeing marketing initiatives for the firm's long/short equity investment products.

Bob specializes in the U.S. equity markets, with a particular focus on diversified long-short strategies that cover all market capitalizations and sectors. He is instrumental in communicating the firm's approach to investment in undervalued equities and overvalued short opportunities, supporting Invenomic’s fundamentally-driven, statistically intensive portfolio management process.

Before joining Invenomic, Bob was Director of Client Relations with Balter Liquid Alternatives and held senior roles at Wells Fargo Asset Management, CUNA Mutual, Evergreen Investments, and Transamerica. He graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Business and Communications, is a CAIA Level 1 candidate, and holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 licenses. With more than 23 years in financial services, Bob is recognized for his expertise in distribution, client service, and the marketing of alternative investment strategies.
