Lauren Lee, PhD, is a Research Analyst at RTW Investments, LP in New York, where she specializes in covering oncology research and conducting in-depth diligence on innovative therapeutic opportunities. Her primary focus is on identifying and evaluating advancements in cancer therapeutics, with an emphasis on both molecular and cellular medicine research relevant to the biopharmaceutical sector.

Before joining RTW Investments, Lauren was a member of the investment teams at Syno Capital as a Senior Associate and at Solasta Ventures as an Associate, where she specialized in healthcare and biotechnology investments and contributed to deal sourcing and scientific diligence.

Lauren holds a PhD in Oncology (Cellular & Molecular Medicine) from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, advised by Mark Levis, M.D., Ph.D., and dual undergraduate degrees—a BA in Immunology (Molecular and Cell Biology) and a BS in Economics—from the University of California, Berkeley.
