Samir Shah is Partner and Portfolio Manager at Sora Investors LLC, an investment firm headquartered in Chicago focusing on global public equities in the technology sector. He plays a key role in managing Sora’s portfolios, deploying a fundamental research approach to identify opportunities in highly disruptive and innovative sub-sectors such as semiconductors, industrial technology, fintech, internet, electronics, clean tech, software, networking, robotics, telecom & media, video games, supply chain, electric vehicles, batteries, cybersecurity, and solar. Shah’s investment activity reflects deep specialization in technology, with major holdings in companies like Analog Devices, Cisco, NVIDIA, Alphabet, Amazon, and First Solar.

Prior to Sora Investors, Shah spent more than a decade at Citadel, advancing from Analyst to Senior Analyst, where he built expertise analyzing and investing in public markets, mostly within the technology and industrials verticals. At Sora, Shah and his team emphasize long-term, idiosyncratic investment strategies and have demonstrated strong conviction in underappreciated global tech companies, particularly in the US and Asia, as well as select developed markets including Japan, Europe, Israel, Korea, and Taiwan.
