Vlad Darie Dobru

Vlad Darie Dobru is a Portfolio Manager overseeing quantitative strategies at Tudor Investment Corporation in New York, NY. In his current role since January 2020, he leads the development and execution of systematic trading models and data-driven investment strategies, focusing on liquid global asset classes such as equities, futures, and macro instruments. His work emphasizes leveraging advanced data analytics and quantitative techniques to generate alpha and manage risk across diversified portfolios.

Prior to becoming a portfolio manager, Vlad served as a Quant Trader and Researcher at Tudor from 2017 to 2019, where he specialized in quantitative research, model design, and execution in managed futures and systematic macro strategies. His earlier experience includes working as a Managed Futures Research Associate at AQR Capital Management (2014–2016), where he carried out empirical research on futures markets and contributed to strategy enhancement for alternative investment products.
