Jordan Platts

Jordan Platts is currently an Options Trader at Walleye Capital, based in Chicago, IL, where he focuses on trading equity and index options across U.S. markets. In this capacity, he is responsible for developing and executing options trading strategies, risk management, and leveraging quantitative methods to optimize portfolio performance for the firm's clients.

He previously served as a Quantitative Trader at IMC Trading, where he specialized in options market making and systematic trading within the equities and derivatives space, as well as participating in the firm's proprietary trading activities. Platts has developed significant expertise in the pricing, trading, and risk management of equity options—his primary asset class—while also applying data-driven approaches in fast-paced trading environments.

Platts holds a Master of Science in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, along with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Central Florida. His analytical background and advanced quantitative skills underpin his achievements in developing high-frequency trading models and robust risk frameworks for complex options portfolios.
