Brandon Lebowitz

Brandon Lebowitz is the Director of Research at Yaupon Capital Management LP in New York, NY, where he is responsible for leading investment research and strategy development across the firm's actively managed portfolios. Yaupon Capital specializes in investments throughout the energy value chain, including both traditional energy, energy transition, and utilities, with exposure to multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, and commodities.

Prior to joining Yaupon Capital Management in 2018, Brandon was an Analyst at Och-Ziff Capital Management, where he gained experience analyzing various investment opportunities, and an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs, focusing on financial modeling and transaction execution. Throughout his career, he has developed significant expertise in coverage of public and private energy companies, utilities, and related sectors.

Brandon holds a BBA with a minor in Mathematics in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business. He is recognized for his analytical rigor and sectoral expertise, particularly in the rapidly evolving landscape of energy investments, and has contributed to thought leadership and educational programs within the investment industry.
