Corey Goldman

Corey Goldman is Managing Director at Yaupon Capital Management LP in New York, where he has served since 2018. In this leadership role, he plays a key part in overseeing investment strategies and portfolio management, focusing on opportunities within the energy sector, including the full energy value chain, energy transition, traditional energy, and utilities. His work spans multiple asset classes, notably equities, fixed income, and commodities, with a mandate to develop strategies for sophisticated institutional clients.

Prior to joining Yaupon Capital, Corey held senior positions at Jefferies as Senior Vice President and at UBS Investment Bank as an Associate Analyst in US Investment Equity Research. Throughout his investment career, Corey has developed specialized expertise in research and analysis of energy markets, positioning him as a trusted advisor and decision-maker for complex investment mandates within these sectors.

Corey earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a finance concentration from Binghamton University – School of Management. He is recognized for his deep industry knowledge, rigorous analytical approach, and contributions to the integration of energy transition themes in institutional investment portfolios.
