Sunny Puri

Sunny Puri is a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Anson Funds, based in Toronto, where he oversees all aspects of the investment process with a focus on strategic trading and portfolio management. Since joining Anson Funds in 2013, Puri has played a key role in the firm's alternative asset management strategies, primarily managing equities within the fund's core investing framework.

He has significant experience across several sectors, with direct involvement in both long and short strategies, including high-profile trades in the cannabis and consumer sectors. His prior experience includes corporate finance roles at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto and Sydney, and as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, giving him a broad base in capital markets and accounting.

Puri holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA). He is also active in the community, serving as a board member for the Canadian Journalism Foundation.
