Tommy Zhang

Tommy Zhang, CFA, is a portfolio manager at Aristotle Pacific Capital (formerly Pacific Asset Management), based in Newport Beach, CA. He currently manages the firm's Trestles CLO Strategy, serves as associate portfolio manager for the Corporate (Bank) Loan Strategy, and is a senior research analyst responsible for covering the building materials and homebuilders sectors. His investment focus spans floating-rate loans, CLOs, and sectors including building materials and homebuilders.

Tommy joined Aristotle Pacific Capital after working as an associate in the Debt Underwriting Group at Goldman Sachs, where he specialized in loan origination and underwriting within the consumer retail and healthcare industries. He began his career as an associate at KPMG's Advisory practice, contributing to his broad expertise in credit analysis and fixed income investing.

He brings over a decade of investment experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA. Tommy is a CFA charterholder, an inactive certified public accountant, and an active member of the CFA Society of Orange County. He is recognized for his deep expertise in structured credit and fundamental credit research, contributing to the innovation and performance of Aristotle's bank loan and CLO strategies.
