Bob Mitchell

Bob Mitchell is a Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and Chief Investment Officer at Conestoga Capital Advisors, LLC, based in Wayne, PA. He also serves as Co-Portfolio Manager for the firm's Small Cap and SMid Cap strategies, overseeing all aspects of the portfolio management and investment process while directing the firm’s investment team and strategy.

Mitchell specializes in U.S. small and SMid capitalization equity strategies, leading research and investment allocation for these asset classes. His expertise spans in-depth analysis and active management of small-cap stocks, with a focus on identifying growth opportunities within this segment.

Prior to founding Conestoga Capital Advisors, he was Portfolio Manager/Analyst and Director of Equity Research at Martindale Andres & Company. Earlier in his career, Mitchell worked in economic and financial analysis with the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division. He holds an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a BA from the University of Notre Dame, reflecting his strong foundation in finance and investment management.
