Mark Clewett

Mark Clewett is President and Managing Partner at Conestoga Capital Advisors, LLC, based in Malvern, Pennsylvania. In his role, he leads the firm's client communications, servicing efforts, and oversees financial operations, while serving as a member of the board of managers responsible for strategic direction. Since joining Conestoga in 2006, he has been instrumental in growing the firm from $200 million to over $8 billion in assets under management, with a focus on cultivating long-term relationships with institutional clients and consultants.

Clewett’s investment focus at Conestoga is on small- and mid-cap growth equity strategies, targeting companies with sustainable competitive advantages. He has played a significant role in developing and differentiating Conestoga’s boutique investment management approach, concentrating on high-quality growth equity within the U.S. equity market. He has also contributed thought leadership regarding the role of Collective Investment Trusts within institutional portfolios.

Prior to Conestoga, Clewett was Senior Vice President, Consultant Relations at Delaware Investments (now Macquarie), where he managed institutional consultant relations and new business development. Earlier, he was an investment analyst at SEI Investments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and has been a CFA charterholder since 1997, alongside Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses. Clewett is recognized for his expertise in institutional client service and for guiding Conestoga’s boutique firm expansion against larger competitors.
