Troy Shaver

Troy Shaver, Jr. is the co-founder and current Chairman Emeritus at Dividend Assets Capital, LLC (DAC), a US-based investment management firm. He serves as a member of DAC’s Investment Committee, contributing to the firm’s overall portfolio management and strategy, with particular focus on dividend growth investing and income-generating equities.

With over 46 years of investment experience, Mr. Shaver has held several senior executive roles, including Vice Chairman, President, and CEO at GoldK, Inc., as well as positions with State Street Research Investment Services, John Hancock Funds, Oppenheimer Management Corporation, and Mosely Hallgarten Estabrook & Weeden. At DAC, his expertise centers on managing portfolios that prioritize dividend-paying US equities, catering to both institutional and private clients.

A graduate of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Geology, Mr. Shaver’s notable contributions include serving as President and Trustee for the Dividend Growth Trust (2005–2012) and leading the Spring Island Trust as Chairman. Renowned for his industry leadership and pioneering efforts in dividend-focused investment strategies, Mr. Shaver remains a key influence in DAC’s long-term, income-oriented asset management approach.
