Ian Thomas Zabor

Ian T. Zabor, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager and Principal at Equity Investment Corporation (EIC), based in Atlanta, GA. He joined EIC in 2005 as a research analyst and was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2010, having discretionary authority over client assets and co-owning the firm following a succession plan implemented in 2016. Ian is responsible for managing the firm’s All-, Large-, and Mid-Cap Value equity portfolios, guiding investment strategy and portfolio construction for institutional and high net-worth clients.

His investment expertise centers on U.S. equities, specifically value-oriented strategies across all market capitalizations, with a particular focus on large- and mid-cap public companies. Ian applies disciplined research and fundamental analysis, leveraging his background in trading, analyst, and portfolio management roles at AG Edwards, the US Small Business Administration, and Wachovia Securities prior to joining EIC.

Ian earned his BA in Economics from Indiana University and holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He received the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2004, underscoring his commitment to rigorous research and professional standards.
